The curriculum grade point average of every student finally determines the awards he/she receives at the end of training. In addition, an INTENSIVE training programme has been designed for persons who cannot join the two years. Regular Programme. The intensive training depends on the student’s need, desire, ability, and nature of the course he/she wishes to pursue; it ranges from two weeks to six months; Intensive classes usually continue in the afternoon and evening from Monday to Saturday.

FACILITIES

SAIDAC/AITI does not have a board and lodging facility for students. As a result of the general underdevelopment of Sierra Leone and the ravages of the 10 years of rebel war experienced in the country, SAIDAC/ AITI needs assistance to improve its infrastructure, especially in the areas of building, furniture, tools, and machines.

The institution has a high potential to grow and expand. The availability of land for infrastructural expansion, agricultural activities, and recreation is not a problem. SAIDAC/AITI has access to over 200 acres of riverain grassland and 0.5 acres of inland valid swamp (IVS) for training purposes.

As part of the training, SAIDAC/AITI exposes students to practical and extracurricular activities. The participation of students in games and sports is an annual event in which students have always excelled and with pleasure. In their final year, students are given the opportunity to get the feeling of a “real job situation” in the form of “On The Job Training” (OJT) for at least three (3) months.
